Náakw Waaḵ Héen Táak Mask
When I harvested the alder tree this came from, there was a big knot right in the middle of the piece. Initially, I had a different thought for this, but I saw an eye in the knot. I have always thought it would be amazing to come eye to eye with an octopus at the bottom of a dive.
The tl’éeg̱í óot’i are made with copper tubing. The rest is spalted alder and acrylic paint.
